Service terms.
A clear starting point for working together.
LAST UPDATED — OCTOBER 3, 2026Scope of these terms
These terms describe the general basis for services from Haynes Development Services. A written proposal or project agreement sets the specific scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, and timing. If that agreement differs from these general terms, the project agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
Agreeing the work
A project begins after the scope and fees have been agreed in writing and any agreed initial payment has been made. An inquiry alone does not create a commitment to carry out work. Changes to scope, timing, or cost are discussed and agreed before additional work proceeds.
Client information and access
You are responsible for supplying accurate requirements, timely feedback, necessary content, and authorized access. You must have the right to use content and systems supplied for a project. Access to production systems and any significant changes should be agreed as part of the work.
Fees and payment
Fees, currency, due dates, and any deposit are stated in the proposal or invoice. Payments may be collected through Stripe-hosted invoices. Hosting, domains, software licenses, and other third-party costs are included only when the agreement expressly says so. Ongoing support is a separate agreement unless included in the project scope.
Delivery and ownership
The agreement defines delivery and acceptance. Ownership or licensing of custom deliverables is specified in the project agreement, including any payment conditions. Third-party software, fonts, libraries, and services remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
Support and outside services
Technical work is performed with reasonable care. Internet services, hosting platforms, and third-party systems can change or become unavailable. Support arrangements, response expectations, maintenance, and any warranty should be stated in the project agreement; no around-the-clock support is implied by this website.
Cancellation and refunds
See the refund and cancellation policy. Specific project terms are agreed before work starts. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
